Season 1 prize pool

What it is

Season 1's prizes are paid from a pool the community fills. The house takes no profit: 60% back to players, 40% burned. So the prizes come from donations, and 100% of donations go to the prize pool.

The pool

Donations are kept in a prize pool account of their own in the game's books. They are final, and nothing leaves the pool except as prizes. It takes $ALAMAYO only.

When

Donations open on 28 October 2026, in the game. Donations close when Season 1 starts on 1 January 2027 at 00:00 UTC. The pool is then locked, so the season plays for a prize everyone knows. Season 1 ends on 29 March 2027 at 00:00 UTC, and the pool pays by the standings then. The leaderboard is in the game from 28 October too; ratings count from 1 January.

Who wins what

After Season 1 ends, the pool pays:

• Places: the Overall board's top ten, one entry per account, at Epic (520) or above.
• Legendary: every account at Legendary (800) or above, the top ten included, shares 30% of the pool equally, at most 3% each. A Legendary share needs Season 1 runs in at least 4 different weeks (a week starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC); a place doesn't.
• Nothing is left over. A place nobody fills, or one struck in the review, goes to the filled places in proportion to their shares; nobody moves up. What the 3% cap leaves goes to the top ten the same way.
• Ties: accounts on the same rating share the prizes of the places they cover, equally. Two accounts tied for 10th and 11th get 1.5% each, plus their part of any top-up.
• Amounts are exact to a ten-thousandth of a token, and the prizes add up to the whole pool.
• An example: a pool of 10,000,000, nine accounts at Epic or above (so 10th is empty), three of them Legendary. Each Legendary account gets 300,000. The cap leaves 2,100,000, which goes with the 70% to the nine places, each getting its share × 91/67: 1st, who is also Legendary, gets 2,473,134.3284 in all, and 9th gets 475,373.1343. The nine prizes add up to 10,000,000.

Who can win

Accounts that sign in with a wallet. A guest has until the payout list goes up to sign in with a wallet; its characters come along. The team's test accounts can't win. Runs with bots never count. The list is reviewed before it is paid, and a place struck for cheating stays empty, its prize shared as above. Prizes go into the purse of the wallet the account signs in with, and nowhere else.

When it pays

The list goes up here by 5 April 2027, with each winner's character, place and amount. At least two days later, and by 12 April, the pool pays exactly that list into the winners' purses, all at once. From the purse a prize can be spent in the game or withdrawn like any other $ALAMAYO.

What's left over

Nothing: the whole pool is paid out at the end of Season 1. Only if nobody qualifies at all, with no place and no Legendary share to pay, does the pool move into Season 2's pool when it opens, after Season 1 ends. If Season 1 is ever stopped early, the pool pays by the standings on the day it stops.

Donating

In the game: the Season panel, the Pool tab. Choose an amount; your wallet asks you to sign a message that names it and says it is final, and the $ALAMAYO moves from your purse to the pool. If your purse is short, the game adds $ALAMAYO from your wallet first, as when you start playing. Any amount from 1 $ALAMAYO counts; a very large gift may take more than one donation. Donations are final: a donation can't be returned. Donate only in the game: there is no address to send to, and we never DM one.

The donor board and the title

Donations and their amounts are public; you can give as Anonymous. The board, in the game and here, lists every donor's total, largest first; equal totals in the order they were reached. From 10,000 $ALAMAYO in total your line shows one of your characters: pick which, or Anonymous, in the Pool tab. Below 10,000 it reads Anonymous. Anonymous hides your name, not your amount: if you add $ALAMAYO from your wallet just before you donate, that deposit is on the chain and its size can point to your line, so to stay unlinked, donate from a purse that already holds it. The season's top three donors get the title Falselight Patron, kept for good, Anonymous ones too; a tie goes to whoever reached the total first. The team's test accounts don't count for it. Donating gives no advantage in fights or ratings: no rating, no gear, no place. The donor mount is as fast as every other mount.

The donor mount

The mount's price falls every day, from 1,000,000 on 28 October to 200,000 on 31 December. Your season total counts: when your total reaches the day's price, the mount is yours at once, for every character on your account from level 10, on a donation or at 00:00 UTC when the price falls. It is looks only, as fast as any other mount. The first 5 riders also get the title Falselight First Rider and a glow on Brightwake, for good. 1 of 5 left on 2 November; the Pool tab in the game shows it live. Gave 300,000 on 28 October? The mount is yours at 00:00 UTC on 23 December, when the price falls to 300,000. Give 200,000 at any time before the close and it is yours on 31 December at the latest.

The schedule: the price falls 12,500 at 00:00 UTC each day, from 1,000,000 on 28 October 2026 to 200,000 on Thursday 31 December 2026, the last day. Donations close when Season 1 starts on 1 January, and the mount's price with them.
