WANTED: Lamp-Eye
From and to the notice board
Lamp-Eye is a Wrecker who wears a lantern where his eye used to be, and he keeps the false fire burning. Hunt him in the Salvage Yard.
How
- Take the poster. While you hold it, he turns up in the Yard within a couple of minutes, then every few minutes.
- He looks like a Wrecker with a pale glow. He's a level-9 rare, so bring three.
- Hand in at the board.
First kill ever: the title Lights Out. First claim ever: the recipe for Lamp-Oil Fritters: two hard tack, a gull egg and lamp oil (he always carries two). Ten seconds of eating and you are Well Fed: +4 Armour for 15 minutes. He sometimes drops the Quartermaster's Kitbag (12 bag slots).
To do
- Defeat Lamp-Eye
Every week. The board asks again on Monday, 00:00 UTC.
What you fight
| Move | Damage | Warning | Shape |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stab | 26 | 0.7 s | cone 2 m |
| Chop | 33 | 0.85 s | cone 2 m |
Every move shows its red ground for its warning time first: step or roll out of it. Damage is at the mob's level, before your armour.
Rewards
8,733 XP each time · the first time, the recipe for Lamp-Oil Fritters
In the quest's words: your pick of a rare: a weapon, an off-hand or a piece for you; salvage; a 1 in 3 chance at one of Lamp-Eye's own pieces; a chance at an Oilskin Duffel; and the first time, the recipe for Lamp-Oil Fritters.
Before and after
After The Keeper's Log. Shows from level 8.
